Update - 9:10 PM EDT - I'm safe here. I'm not certain what damage (if any) that may have taken place in the actual storm path. Another t-storm moved through about 30 minutes after the storm that caused the alert. Some lightning and a bunch of rain and wind but no damage here. There could be more storms later tonight too.

As I write this a tornado warning has been issued for an area about ten miles to the south of my location. I think I'm safe here since the thunderstorm has passed rather quickly. I can still hear the thunder off in the distance though.

The power has stayed on so far and I'm thankful for that. I don't know if there are any more storms coming behind this one or if this is the last of the storms for the day. I'll check the WX radar again in another ten minutes or so and see what's going on.
