Comments are IMPORTANT here!
Now that there seems to be some new activity in authors posting here please remember that COMMENTS to the stories they post are just as important as the stories themselves. If you don't make an effort to comment then the authors will very likely stop posting here since they aren't getting many (if any) comments.
Commenting is about as easy as I can make it without letting the spammers fill up the site with their junk. Even if you don't have an account here you can STILL comment on a story. It'll just take a bit longer for someone to approve the comment than the instant access a user with an account has.
User accounts are free and all that is required is for you to have an email address where the site can send you a validation message for your account. We'll normally approve most user accounts in 12 to 16 hours, sometimes a lot less depending on when we check for new accounts.
Remember, your comments on the stories are JUST AS IMPORTANT as the stories themselves in keeping this site active.

New features suggestions
I've gotten several suggestions for new features and changes from various people. I do thank you for taking the time to let your desires for a better web site be known.
I use a content manager system called Drupal to run the site. I'm presently using version 5 of the software and support for that particular version will come to an end in early 2010. Since I have to do an upgrade of the software to the current version before then I'm going to hold off on making any changes to the current site. The new software has some new features and add-on modules to make some of the functionality you've suggested possible.
Stardust is NOT going to close but...
Stardust is NOT going to close but what remains to be determined is if someone else may take over running the site and if it might move to another server or stay where it is. If you are posting stories at other sites please continue to do so. As for stories posted exclusively on Stardust they will remain on the site and the site will continue to operate.
I do want the site to grow but I'm uncertain that I'm the correct person to make that happen. I'm considering the options of turning the responsibility for daily operations to someone else and possibly moving the site to a different server.

“The dancer, Kristi Yamaguchi. She was just here.”
“Sadao-san, you are mistaken. That was not Kristi Yamaguchi who we just passed,” Ryuku said. ‘Hung over men and their fantasies.’
“Man say she with FBI,” Sadao said insistently.
Tsuki tried correcting her friend. “No, they say she from February.”
Synopsis- As Agent Ripley makes her move to Hong Kong she begins to re-think her Swan Song assignment.

Beep beep beep beep beep beep
Oh, I dragged an eye open and looked at the alarm clock. Six a.m. The events of last night came sharply back into focus.
"What are you doing in a dress?" Dad demanded
"His boobs are stuck on" Jules put in
"Drew?"
"The bottle of remover stuff got broken and we couldn't get any today, Mrs Peters is having some delivered Monday?" I explained quickly
"Why didn't you let me know, how are you going to go tomorrow like that?" he enquired

Mittfh's Stories
Here's a list of all the stories that have escaped my warped imagination...so far!
(Or at least, those that have broken out of their padded cell at BCTS!)

Here's a cautionary (and potentially disturbing) tale set in nursery rhyme land,
but how many rhymes inspired this?
Warning: this tale contains a scene of mollusc genocide!
