"This has to be quite a change from Newport, Rhode Island," C said before the interview began.
"It is," Kalai said with a small smile. The baby boy in the hut was crawling quite quickly, and most of the time toward the former John Edward Hayes IV. "Technology has improved life, but I've grown to learn it's also taken our humanity."
"You sound a little like the Unabomber," D replied.
"I'm not Song," I said in a very firm tone of voice. "Will you now excuse me?"
That's when the cramped room became even smaller. As I began to leave, a third woman began to enter. Oh Song Lee and I almost walked straight into one another.
We just stood there for a minute staring at one another. With the exception of the way Song and I had our hair styled, It was like looking into a mirror.
The third woman in the room was who had already done a double take while shaking her head at the same time, exclaimed. "This is so incredible."
"Positive, sir." The E5 had been almost as shocked as her boss. She even asked the contact with the Seoul police to repeat it back to her three times. "Mrs. Powers was struck by a car and is in stable condition. Major Powers is unhurt."
"Do you know how we can reach him?"
Marie Vallero was about to answer when another line rang. Putting her boss on hold for a moment, she answered it. Then, after discovering who was calling, the E5 got back on line with her superior. "Sir, it's Major Powers on line two."
The LTC immediately punched the button for line two. "Steve, what is going on?"
"Mommy," said five-year-old Brittney McGee, "I changed Adam into a puppy with this funny box. Can I keep him like this?"
Almost immediately, Linda McGee's jaw struck the ground.

"Not who, but what," Leslie told me and I still didn't get it. "Bob is

Tim Roberts was staring at the reflection in the mirror. Even two months later, it seemed totally alien to him...err, her. She checked one last time, her hair and makeup were perfect. Then Tim got up out of her chair.
“If I just introduce myself and tell you a bit about me will that help?” I ask, as I sit here before the pledge committee. I’m REALLY nervous and my sweating palms, arm-pits and other places are not helping.
“Sure go ahead. All your information is listed on your application, but by the look of your oscillating knees, talking might have a hope of calming you down a bit.” Said Prez. Dack Garvin. At least that was the name on the bronze desk plaque in front of the quintessential sophisticated rich hansom macho jock, oh, and seemingly suck-up too. Ok, so I was intimidated, a little, ok so it might have been more than just a little.
