There seemed to be a flurry of activity the first week the site was up but now the general activity level seems to have dropped to near zero. Thanks to the authors who did contribute stories to the system, they helped generate interest in the site.

The problem is that I only have my own stories that I can post as content for the site. While I'm told that my own stories are interesting, I'm well aware that they will never have the draw that stories by other authors posess. This site can't exist on my material alone and there isn't enough new material coming in to make the site interesting to readers over the course of a week or so.

I guess the slogan "If you build it they will come" only works in baseball movies. Without more authors contributing stories I think the best course of action may be to give up on the site. I know I could go chasing after authors to post here and I have asked several to either send stories to me for posting or to post the stories on their own. So far the results haven't been very promising.

To try to figure out what to do about the site I've opened a poll. Please do take a moment or two to vote. The LACK of voting on the poll will tell me as much or possibly more then the actual results will.
