Morgan is entering his sophomore year in high school. The most beautiful girl in the class asks him to work with her on a special school project. This is extraordinary in that he is the smallest boy in class and her previous boyfriend is the star quarterback. Morgan is quickly up to his “cute little ears” in a unique learning experience.

Peaches Part 1

I always tend to preface a comment on a story like this by saying this usually isn't the kind of story I go for. That being said, on to the commenting.

I really enjoyed it. The characters are very real, and the multiple view points are handle masterfully. Its so easy to get the reader confused when you switch viewpoints, but this story makes the transitions exceptionally well defined. The approach works quite well too because it provides insight into each of the characters you would otherwise not be privy to from a single viewpoint. Yet even as you provide that added insight, not all is revealed, so the reader is left wondering what is in store. This is especially well handled with Melinda, who seems very genuine but there is still a question left in the reader's mind as to her motivation.

Excellent work! I look forward to the remainder of the story.

Sincerely,
Scott

Calvin: You can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes: What mood is that?
Calvin: Last-minute panic.
