There are so many buttons on the box where you enter a story or other stuff. What do they all do?

It's easy to find out. Just hover the mouse cursor over each of the icons and wait a second or two. A little box will pop up that tells you what the botton does.

The teaser box is gone when I enter a story. How do I get it back again?

Teasers, if you use them, are now entered as a part of the body of the story at the TOP of the story. The site will use the first 1,000 characters or so if you don't insert a teaser break to mark off the end of the teaser. There's a button in the editor that will insert the break for you. Hover you cursor over the buttons to find out what they do.
