A dream in a hospital

The light shone from the outside of my room, the light was warm and made my body tingle all over as just everything started to warm up, my room was decorated in a glow of pink and as the light shone on it the colour gained a bright tingle of divine and a subtle hint of strength, in the room there was a wardrobe in a shade of white and baby blue, there was a huge mirror standing in one wall near one door that, I suppose, was the bathroom.

The bed was in a shade of baby blue, yellow and white, the iron frames were shaped as little and huge flowers and butterflies. There was a photo frame above the bed, in there, were two little twin girls and their parents waiting outside some sort of a strange flying device with no wings or engines, just a name “Air Cruiser #37”.

I decided to get up of the bed, I had been in bed for too long this last days. I walked to the wardrobe and opened it; inside there were all sort of cloths, boy’s, girl’s even ones that fit none. I looked in the long mirror and saw a person looking back it was no boy and no girl, just a person. The reflex gave me how I looked like, I had no hair, no genitals and I was naked. Embarrassed by my own image I walked to the wardrobe and stared at it wondering what kind of cloths I should chose, then a sort of pure immaculate white dress called my attention, I took it out of the wardrobe. It was gorgeous like a dress made for an angel, silk and lace with small frills all over it, I was hypnotized.

I decided, I put it on me and found that hanging on the same place there was a perfect combination of lingerie and shoes to go with it. I decided to put all of it on and when I saw myself on the mirror I was astonished. I had grown boobs I had, again, long hair and a perfect smooth skin. Suddenly one person came out of nowhere and stood there watching me in some sort of gaze. Then his mouth opened and thus no understandable words were spoken, the room when black again and I was back to the Nod land.

Once again I opened my eyes, and had to close them again, an immense light was in the room like nothing else then someone spoke.

-My child, child born in light and wisdom, do not fear your wishes even if they come in a sense you do not understand, calm your heart and thus let the light shine from it. And thus you shall be awakened. Everything went black and I was back to Nod land.

Voices started to be heard and the hospital room filled with joy family, father, sister and mother so to say. I could hear them but I could open my eyes, I could think but I couldn’t move to be able to speak, I wanted to cry but no tears fell from the water dam.

-Is she going to be alright doctor?!
-But of course, she was just a bit of anaemic from her period thus we gave her some iron and some tranquilizer so that she cannot fell so many pain. Still it’s not normal a heavy flow for a 1st period so we want to keep her for more a little while.
-Thank you doctor.
-You are welcome.

Her mother sat on a chair next to her bed and kept her gaze on her new daughter, her now tiny and frail figure, and this new possible tragic occurrence were no good for her. Her mother senses of protection rose over, she asked her other daughter and her husband to go to the cafeteria grab a coke and a cake or something for her while she awaits, with a blink her daughter got the clue and grabbed her father out of the room carefully closing the door when they left. A wish and a bit of magic were cast and no longer was a daughter on the bed… Their mother got up from the chair and walked out of the room, got over the cafeteria took her husband and daughter and went to the safety of home.

When they arrived home, a small sense of roses and grass emanated from it. Other than that nothing unusual was there. They mother as soon as they entered the house got on fast walking speed towards Joy room, the door was closed and snoring sounds came from the other side. Unspoken words were said. The ground around their mother shone and thus their home had got new gears to work around. Nii walked towards her mother and asked if Joy was alright, after an affirmative nod both of them headed to the kitchen so to start lunch.

-Mommy what will happen to Joy now?
-I wish I could tell honey, but, I can say that until anything else happen Joy will be alright.
-Is Joy going to stay a girl?
-I don’t know Sweetheart I don’t know. As I said 1st wishes are the strongest but I don’t know if Joy had or had not made his 1st wish long ago. I know that you had made yours long ago and it sure was nothing to be feared for but for Joy I just don’t know…

Her mother lose her trail of speech and tears fell from her face Nii seeing this stopped cutting potatoes and run towards her mother and gave her a bear hug, they stood there for a long time until both of them had finished their tears and their water dam had been drained. Then the father entered the kitchen and saw them, and in a microsecond headed back to the living room, he knew better when to live and let die, when to speak and be quiet, when to be restless and when to sleep…
