Welcome to the spring/summer slump (I think).

In what seems to be a normal yearly event don't expect many (if any) postings to Stardust for a while. It seems to be normal for new story additions to the site to take a nose dive until the late fall on into winter.

I do know that there's another Julie O short story due shortly and she has started work on another part of the Coeds series.  Expect those two stories at least.

posting frequency and me...

Funny, I was just noticing this. I have quite a backlog of stories, that aren't new but would be new to STARDUST, but I didn't want to just dump them all here over the course of a few days and hog the front page. So I had set myself a limit of posting one of mine after nine others had shown up. But the waiting ("Come on somebody, post something so I can- Arrrrghhhh!") is frustrating, and now I think I'll relax that self-imposed rule, at least for a while. Maybe every tenth story or twice a month, whichever comes first? That seems fair. Last story I put up was a bit on the grim side, so today I'll post something lighter. Ideally---and eventually---I'll start submitting brand new stuff here, but oh god the writing is going slooooooooooooooow...

(And the promise of new works by one of my absolute favorite authors is great news indeed!)

Crossposting

I've got a few bits of random nonsense posted over at BCTS that I could feasibly post over here. Again, I haven't posted much because I didn't want to crowd out the front page with me, me, me!

Burned out muse

I stopped writing DHCF for a few weeks because I was exhausted from my efforts of the last two months. Chapters 15-20 which I began working on around January 10th and completed March 15th, drained me to the point I needed a time out. Story research, 88,000 words written, edited, and formatted for publication in 9 weeks time. My muse needed a two-week breather.

At present I'm working on Part 21, and have a little over 10 pages typed.(My story chapter on average is 35-37 pages but can be anywhere from 30 to 60).

The 10th publication anniversary for my first TG fiction stories is coming up in June and July. I plan on re-posting those stories to here and BC. The first story is bad, the second all right I think, but in serious need of a proof reading.

Its all opposite to me :)

I have an Autum/Winter slump to look forward to, made all the more boring by not having anything to read on a cold miserable day. Thats what I pay for living in Australia, but everything else kicks butt, now what did I do with that library card.....
