Is there a problem here or what?

One user has indicated that there may be a problem with the new look for the web site but didn't bother to elaborate on what the problem was so I could attempt to correct it. If there are problems some DETAILED description of the technical problems with the site itself (NOT the stories on it!) are appreciated so I can try to make some corrections.

I know that many users may need a larger font but there's little I can do to correct that since everyone needs something different. Many browsers have the ability to enlarge the font displayed with only a couple of mouse clicks so look under your browser's "view" option to see if you can enlarge the font easily.

Again, I'll try to fix any technical problems with the site. I don't need to know about any problems with the stories themselves unless a glitch in the formatting of a story is causing a problem.

Thanks,
Bob Arnold

Well...

as far as I am concerned there is no working problem. There is maybe one little aesthetic problem with the rather blah gray scale appearance of the new site headers but that probably would only be a problem with some of us girls not the futura aspect of appearance to the teckies here. :)

No problems at this end ...

I use Firefox -- multi-platform and FREE! -- under Linux and XP. Both seem to have no problem with any stories here. Font size is as easy as typing [CTRL]+ for larger text, or [CTRL]- for smaller text.

You can even set a minimum font size. Just click "Tools"-"Options"-"Content"-"Fonts and Colors: Advanced"

With apologies to the X-Files: "The answers are out there."

Header Issue

Bob... there is an overlap of issue in the header after you log in to the site. I will send you a screen shot of the problem. I get it in both IE and Safari.

Have you tried FireFox?

FireFox is a free web browser and is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems. Its available from http://www.mozilla.com/

I just logged in to check.

I just logged in to check. No issues in IE. The website is looking pretty good from several platforms and browsers. No complaints. You said Safari though, so I'm guessing you're a Mac user? Maybe an issue there.
