I have had some problems as well. I was in last night and Erin said she and Bob had been working to fix a problem that was giving them headaches. I was just in a few minutes ago and after reading a story hit "home" to go back to the main site and got the nasty "cannot connect" message. I'm sure Bob and Erin are working on it.

Erin blogged earlier that they'd been having a few database problems with BC/TS. She and Bob had disabled some features in the hope that would persuade the database to behave itself just before going to bed last night.

This morning, BCTS was working fine. However tonight it's being very flakey - intermittently, pages will take ages to load, don't load at all, voting will produce an error. But it's all intermittent, so you can get 5 minutes or so where everything runs smoothly. Whichever style sheet recolours visited links doesn't appear to be loading either.

Hopefully Bob and Erin will be able to diagnose the issue fairly quickly and get things running up to speed again.

After all, BCTS is the largest of their three sites (BCTS, Stardust, OtherWorlds) and IMHO a lot more user-friendly than FM or SS.
