Printer-friendly versionThe National Weather Service has just issued a high wind warning for my area in upstate NY where the server is located. That means that there's a pretty good chance that the site may go down due to a power outage. The NWS is saying that the damage might be rather nasty and several days without power is a probability.
This is just a notice to let you know that a weather related outage is a possibility. If there is an outage the site will be back as soon as power is restored and I can get the server farm going again.

Where is the global warming when you need it? It is 22 Deg. F. this morning here in Dallas, Texas. Methinks Al Gore got it wrong! Of course, a politician would never lie, would he?
I don't know what to think!
You know, you see all these pictures of Glaciers retreating and the Arctic ice melting and it's hard to argue about Global warming. People start show graphs of CO2 levels rising and records of the warmest decade in history and it seems pretty open and shut.
But then the Geologist start up with their graphs and records going back a few thousand years instead of a few hundred and it seems as if this is simply a normal cycle, (more or less).
Who is right and who is wrong? I honestly don't know but I am GLAD that I'm down South right now. Snow? Burrr!!!
