Just a short note to let you know that I greatly appreciate the work and thought which has obviously gone into writing this tale of great changes which affect all life on our 'little blue-green planet'.
I also have a few thoughts regards formatting and use of Hebrew characters in your epic tale, but these will not be of interest to many readers so I'd prefer to do so privately. Unfortunately, I can see no indication here on how to contact you privately . Maybe I can do so via the facilities Erin has set up on Big Closet...
After corresponding with Rob, it turns out that at least one "e-book" product doesn't handle Hebrew display properly, and I haven't tested it at all on any e-book reader, since I don't actually own one. The HTML code was originally tested and verified to XHTML 1.0 Strict standards, although I've had to make a few compromises for the Stardust environment, since I used stylesheets, which Stardust doesn't fully support, for very good reasons, I might add.
If you have problems with any of the various languages used in the text, please rest assured that the general context will allow a good guess at what the non-English says, and many of the more obscure have associated tooltips, so one might be able to "hover" your mouse pointer over the strange words and see an instantaneous translation. In any case, the plot is carried forward entirely in English, so there is no essential information lost if your browser finds Greek difficult for any reason, or throws a fit over right-to-left writing systems. If there is no tooltip, most of the slangy words used by Sa'aan and Leana are explained in the Encyclopaedia, although first uses are usually explained in context within the text, and many of the esoteric or philosophical concepts are given a rough and ready explanation there as well. You might also review your memories of Firefly, since most of the Chinese is straight from one episode or another.
Wonderful storytelling
