Fictionmania's Removal

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Bob,
I note with some sadness that the direct link to Fictionmania has been removed from the home page. I realize that it has been over seven months since FM was up for anything more than a short flash or test, but I (and a lot of others, I believe) always hoped that it would be back up sooner or later. Do you have any inside information? Is FM's demise now sealed?
Thank you for your concern, and thank you for all your efforts to keep this site and others up and running right.

Just disabled, not completely removed

The link has just been disabled from displaying not completely deleted. I, like many readers, hope that one day we'll hear the news that FM has indeed returned. Until then I decided to take the link off the page. It will return as soon as FM does (if it does).

I wish I had some "insider" information to share but I don't. Offers of help and resources from both myself and other people essentially gone unanswered by the FM Task Force. I can say that any plans I make concerning Stardust are now made with the thought in mind that FM may not return. If they are able to get things going again there is more than enough room for all of the sites and I wish them well if their efforts are continuing.

Thanks for the update

Dear Bob,
thanks for the up date I hope they do come back and you are the only site that I read that I get in my library, I do not use their compters I use my laptop, there has to be away around their block however I do not know of one because I am lousy with comouters, my dvd drive does not work now and I am saving up for a new one, there must be a test I can do to find out what is wrong with my dvd drive, I do love your site and hope that the authors I read on your site will write more or I find another one I Like. I know you probally not going to write any more zapped, that is okay I understand that, sometimes you come to a point in a story and there is nothing more to add. take care, I wish you peace and harmony.
