Printer-friendly versionLooks like the worst of this storm is over. We got at least a foot of wet heavy snow overnight and the winds caused some drifting. I have a three foot tall drift in my front yard and at least two feet of snow piled at the end of the driveway where the plows left it. The snow is being cleared out now by a neighbor's kid. Amazing what the offer of being paid a few bucks will do.
Now all I have to do is sit tight and make a grocery run tomorrow when the conditions improve a bit more. Good thing I bought a bit extra just in case.

It looks like a tiny red X in a box. Oh my! Apparently you've fallen into some weird pocket universe Piper, possibly the result of a physics experiment at Brookhaven National Laboratory gone awry. Hope you can get out! Suddenly I don't feel so bad now. All we have to deal with in the Sierra is this damn snow...
