DANNY
Part 6 by Roberta J. Cabot This is a story about Daniel, a guy with a unique talent and an even more unique problem: A great singing voice and the looks of his gorgeous sister, and how he and his family and friends deal with life with him having breasts. And now, it is coming close to that moment, when he has to choose the path his life would go - between being a girl or remaining a guy. Danny finds it a little more difficult to continue with the subterfuge as he suddenly finds himself going on TV. |

Witching Hour
Submitted by bobbie-c on 2010, January 4 - 4:58amWitching Hour
by Bobbie Cabot
Kim knew about his sister Kaye, and about her friends Diane and Cassie – the fact that they were witches. But Kaye was dieing. And, apparently, Kaye needed someone to replace her. She wasn’t worried, though. There was another witch who’ll be replacing her if need be – someone named Kimmie. And who the heck is Angel?
Author’s Note: This story was inspired by a TV show about a trio of witches which I am sure you all know of, as well as by a new friend named Angel, and her little work of fiction, Kim, whom I got to know because of our mutual acquaintance, Dan. Problem is, this new story’s started to take on a life of its own, and I fear I cannot end it now, the way I originally planned. (Oh no! Shades of Dan and the gang…)

Teacup Roses, Guitars, a Bus Pass and a Mistaken Identity
(A Danny Fairchild Story) This little interlude is set somewhere in the middle of the events of Chapter 8 of the still unfinished story, “Danny.” This does not materially contribute to that story, but is more like “a day in the life” type of story of the main character, Danny. This story can stand on its own somewhat, but it would be good to read Danny, unfinished though it is, to get a background on the story and characters (You can find the story, "Danny" here in Stardust. See http://stardustr.us/content/danny ) . |

THE LIBRARY: REWRITE
Submitted by bobbie-c on 2009, October 27 - 2:34pmThe Library: Rewrite
Ghosts in the library. A fairly common story for Halloween . Telling such stories, especially around a campfire at night, is fun. Heck, it’s almost a tradition – a ghostly figure that you see from the corner of your eye as you work on your homework in the library, eerie sounds, unexplained movements like doors closing or chairs moving et cetera. Old hat. Hackneyed, even. Thing is, I was the one who saw them, experienced them. It might even have been okay if that was all, and if they just happen occasionally, and at night. But the thing was, the weird stuff started happening in the daytime as well, and during class. And it all started when my eyes changed color…
