Kerry darted across the cold rainy street, huddled in on herself to preserve any dregs of warmth she might have left in her. Hiding herself was so routine she did it with half her attention, slipping silently between dismal little pools of light.

Another fit of shivering wracked her bony frame as the wind gusted through a too thin layer of cloth that was soaked anyway. It had been a month since she slept indoors and after that experience at the shelter she wasn’t going anywhere near one of those places. It hadn’t been violent this time, at least, just incredibly humiliating. She’d showed up with other people seeking a place to sleep and watched with hope as a family ahead of her was even given a room. Then she was standing in front of the table as a kindly looking man eyed her up and down for a moment before speaking.

"Well its healed lovely Drew" Sylv informed me, "you sure you want it left out?"

"Yes!" I stated a little harshly

"Okay, okay"

"Sorry Sylv, I'm just a bit touchy today."

We rejoined the others in the living room.

I'm afraid our usual jocular evening was a bit soured by my mood. I can't really explain why I feel like I have triple maths next but I do. Okay!

"...so you're still gonna play Badminton?" Ally pursued as we walked back to the car.

It had been an early start and this stop at Colsterworth, south of Grantham was only to answer the call of nature. We had about another hour's drive down to Sandy and today's 25 mile time trial based on the A1 trunk road.

"Well Mr Pilling asked if I would"

"But Drew, you said Gaby was history" Mad told me

"I know, but it's just a one off, if I don't you'll have to find something else too you know" I replied

“Dr. Wagner, speaking for myself, I’m sorry you had to interrupt your honeymoon to help the committee.”

“It is all right, Agent Tanaka; I want to help the committee.”

“Thank you, Doctor.”

“Agent Tanaka, I want to help you as well. You and Captain Slater deserve to be as happy as Henry and I are now.”

Synopsis- Operation Swan Song begins to wind down but the danger for Tom Slater continues to increase.

I was still rather sleepy and fell asleep again. When I wakened sometime later and opened my eyes, it took me a few seconds to realise where I was, and felt down below. Sitting up in bed, it dawned on me that, instead of pyjamas, I was wearing a nightdress: it was very soft, cream coloured and seemed to be made of satin.

The morning was dark and dismal; another rainy day, that would make ten in a row. I was not used to having so much rain. I had just moved to the West coast because my job brought me here; it was easy for me to move around because I have no family to speak of. I was an only child and my parents were killed in a car accident when I was eighteen so I was effectively alone. I didn’t know my grandparents on either side; dad had always told me that they were back in Eastern Europe somewhere but never got very specific. I guess I could have done some research to find out but frankly I didn’t care that much. I entered the military shortly after my parent’s death and did two tours in Iraq before I left the military to peruse other ventures.

There are times in your life that will define who and what you are; at those times what you do will determine how your future will unfold. Looking back on your life you can see just where those moments were and what you did to make you the person you are today. I was at such a moment not too long ago and looking back at my decision I don’t think I would have made it differently had I known how my life would have changed so drastically. Let me explain what I did to lead me to where I am now.

Two years ago I was faced with a decision; you see I have been a crossdresser all my life, as far back as I could remember I would always prefer to wear my sisters clothes rather than my own. To my benefit my mother knew and said nothing about it, she would allow me my dress up time with my sister and we would have fun. This continued right up till the day my sister went off to University and moved out of the house taking with her all her clothes. I was left with only a couple of pairs of panties and a bra; not much for a guy who loves to get fully dressed with makeup and all. I tried to cope with the loss of my dress up time but I got depressed and moody sulking around the house. Dad was unaware of my hobby of dressing for mom never told him so he was unaware as to why I was so depressed. Mom came to me one night and talked.

I thought back to just a month ago, it seemed longer somehow. Anyway it was just after my twelfth birthday…
